buy fake disulfiram Day two of bowl practice wrapped up at Mesa College, with ASU players in eager anticipation for the Holiday Bowl. Even with RB Marion Grice out for the bowl game, the squad seems ready to face the likes of Texas Tech.
Safety Alden Darby discussed how he is handling the absence of his teammate Grice and what the offense is doing in order to compensate for this loss.
“I have full confidence in D.J. Foster. He really stepped up in the PAC-12 Championship Game, when we needed him on a big stage. We are approaching this game just like we did the championship. We aren’t worried; we know D.J. can handle it.
Foster had two touchdowns against Stanford in the PAC-12 Championship before leaving early in the second half with a knee injury.
Quarterback Taylor Kelly has proven this season that he can both pass and run the ball. He discussed his second year at the helm and how his confidence and skill-set have matured.
“The offensive line is doing a great job this year, and with that it gives me great confidence in my own abilities. I have strong communication with Kody Koebensky at center and when the communication is good, it allows me to focus more on coverages.”
With Taylor Kelly raining from Eagle, Idaho, I touched on the fact that Northwest QB’s seem to have plenty of success at ASU with the likes of Jake Plummer and Brock Osweiler.
“There’s just something about us Northwest guys, we just have that it factor, we like to work hard,” Kelly laughed. “A big thing with playing QB is that you have to be the hardest working guy on your team and not get distracted if you have a bad play. I really looked up to both of those guys and tried to follow in their footsteps.”
